| 5. Uluru, Northern Territory
Uluru (Ayers Rock) is an enormous sandstone rock formation that rises to a peak of over 350m and has a landscape that changes dramatically with the shifting light and seasons. At dawn and sunset, it glows a dramatic shade of red. Take a walk around the base but allow plenty of time -- it can take up to hours to get all the way around!
